Granite Digital, Ireland’s leading full-service digital agency, will create 50 new jobs across its Dublin, Cork and Galway offices. The jobs announcement comes as part of a €2.5 million investment in its business which will bring its Irish workforce to over 100 people within the next three years.

Granite provides a wide range of digital solutions to businesses across Ireland, including digital strategy, web design, web development, digital marketing, seo and ppc consultancy and managed hosting. The new roles will include data analysts, cloud infrastructure experts, software developers, creative roles and ux designers. Granite will hire experienced professionals and new talented graduates for its Granite academy programme.

The new roles will be spread across Granite’s three Irish offices to better serve its growing nationwide client base of more than 1,400 private and public sector organisations. The digital agency has seen particularly strong growth in the fintech, healthcare, education and hospitality sectors. Clients of Granite include Enterprise Ireland, Dalata Hotel Group, UCC, UCD, University of Wolverhampton, Uniphar, St. James Hospital, Bons Secours Health System, Dublin Bus, Davy, Fexco and Aon.

The investment comes as Granite marks a significant period of growth, having more than doubled its revenue to €5 million over the past three years with plans to double it again to €10 million by 2022.

Granite’s strategic focus of delivering digital transformation for its client base is key to its growth plans, with the company investing significantly in emerging technologies and growth areas such as data analytics, cloud technologies, augmented reality and virtual reality.

Granite’s €2.5 million investment includes a fund set aside for strategic growth opportunities, focusing on complementary digital and software businesses to enable the company to scale at pace. It will continue to seek new investment opportunities to make new acquisitions and partnerships to enable further growth.

In addition, Granite distinguishes itself by forging strong partnerships with both global technology leaders and indigenous digital specialists. Granite works closely with Umbraco, one of the fastest   growing platforms worldwide for building enterprise websites and content management systems, and   recently acquired Galway-based app development company, Apps Made Easy, enhancing its ability to meet demand for customer-focused mobile apps.

Conor Buckley (pictured), CEO, Granite Digital, said: “We’re delighted to announce our plan to almost double the current team at Granite Digital. We have a strong presence in Dublin, Cork and Galway and it’s fantastic to be able to create further quality employment opportunities in these regions. We have a highly ambitious growth strategy which we believe is achievable by bringing the right talent on board so we have the skills and capacity to capitalise on business opportunities.

“The demand for customer-focused, engaging websites and applications has grown exponentially in recent years and we’ve experienced significant growth on the back of this, consolidating our position as Ireland’s leading full-service digital agency. Through strong partnerships, strategic acquisitions, a growing team and an unrivalled level of technology skills and knowledge, Granite Digital is well equipped to truly transform more businesses in Ireland with a digital-first approach.”
